CV

o mnie

I am a doctoral student at the Artium Humaniorum Academy doctoral school at Nicolaus Copernicus University (UMK). I earned my bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Gdańsk and my master’s degree from Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. I am actively involved in the Student Philosophy Research Club at Nicolaus Copernicus University. I am writing my dissertation on the diverse currents of feminist new materialisms, focusing in particular on how the proposed ethical, ontological, and epistemological assumptions translate into inclusive practices of knowledge production. In my research, I aim to demonstrate the potential of work in the field of FNM in the context of contemporary social and environmental challenges.

projects

I am working to raise awareness of these issues by co-organizing conferences (such as "Interweaving Polyphony of Perspectives. Counter-hegemonic practices" (Toruń, 2024) oraz "Interweaving Polyphony of Perspectives II" (Toruń 2025)). As part of the SFKN at Nicolaus Copernicus University, I lead the YAS project, which explores topics related to environmental humanities and feminist new materialisms. I am also currently a member of the “Wilgoć” (ang. Moisture) collective, where I co-organize an artivist project of the same name, aimed at deepening the discussion on non-human relationships related to water by connecting activists, academics, and artists.

My research interests focus on Feminist New Materialisms (FNM), a diverse philosophical movement that emphasizes the role of material processes in shaping social and cultural reality. I am interested in the methodological dimension of FNM, which I view as a dynamic research practice involving the charting of new lines of thought and connections that open up inter- and transdisciplinary interpretive frameworks. I am particularly drawn to the Blue Humanities movement, which connects with my love for the sea (as someone from the Tri-City), swimming (I trained for 10 years and currently serve as a licensed swimming judge as a member of the "Board of Referees of the Polish Swimming Association"), and (not only) marine mammals. I conduct research within the framework of relational ontology, drawing on the concept of “becoming-with,” emphasizing mutual material entanglement and the possibility of forming transformative alliances.

The key areas of my research include:
